Meet the Principals of
Kurke & Associates
Dr.
Lance B. Kurke brings more than 25 years of academic research and business
experience to the consulting firm providing unsurpassed value to his
clients. He has been recognized as a top rated trainer and speaker by a
wide range of successful and visionary organizations with revenues
ranging from less than $1 million to more than $10 billion.
In addition to the consulting practice,
Dr. Kurke continues an active role in the academic community as Academic
Director of MBA Programs, Associate Professor of Management in the John
F. Donahue Graduate School of Business at Duquesne University, and
Adjunct Professor at the H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy and
Management at Carnegie Mellon University. He is the recipient of
numerous teaching awards. His publications cover topics including
change, innovation, communications, ethics, executive behavior, Asian
affairs, comparative health care, military history, strategic change and
total quality management. AMACOM recently published his highly
acclaimed book The Wisdom of Alexander the Great.
Dr. Kurke earned his BS from Stetson
University and his MBA, MA, and Ph. D. from the Johnson School of
Management at Cornell University. Prior to joining the faculty at
Duquesne University, Dr. Kurke served on the faculties of Carnegie
Mellon University’s Teppler Graduate School of Industrial Administration
as well as the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest
University.
